We understand that a Catholic school education is a significant investment for your family. St. Peter School is committed to making our program financially feasible for families regardless of their families’ economic circumstances
A Catholic education is a priceless gift for your children that will last them a lifetime. In turn, we strive to keep St. Peter School accessible with a mindful tuition schedule and an impactful financial aid program.
Families have the opportunity to apply for all the scholarships listed below using the unified online application. To make the process easier for families and schools, one application is now being used for all scholarships funded by the Catholic Education Office, the Today & Tomorrow Educational Foundation, and the Roman Catholic Foundation of Eastern Missouri. The Scholarship Office at TTEF will review your application and determine your family’s award(s) based on eligibility for the different programs.
Individual students may not receive more than one scholarship if awarded, not including Catholic Families Tuition Assistance and Parish Employees Endowment Fund. These funds may be awarded in addition to the other scholarships listed below.
In an effort to increase and retain enrollment of children in Catholic elementary schools, the “Alive! in Christ” Scholarship Program seeks to provide financial assistance to those families (both Catholic and Non-Catholic) who wish to offer their children an education at a Catholic elementary school in the archdiocese. Scholarship awards are based upon financial need of the applicant and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
Funded through contributions to the Beyond Sunday campaign, the Beyond Sunday Education Fund Scholarship Program provides tuition assistance to middle-income families seeking a Catholic education for their children. Awards are available to students attending most Catholic elementary and high schools in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Beyond Sunday is open to students of all faiths, with preference given to Catholic students. Elementary school awards renew through the eighth grade, and high school awards renew through the twelfth grade. Annual income requalification is required for all awards.
The people of the Archdiocese of St. Louis established this endowed fund through their contributions to the Returning God’s Gifts campaign. This ten million dollar endowment was established in May, 1999. Grants are made on the basis of financial need as determined by the application process. Grants may be used for Catholic children to attend an archdiocesan or parochial elementary school or an archdiocesan or parochial high school.
When Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Daykin passed away, she left her entire estate in a trust to award educational grants in memory of Richard F. Daykin, her husband; Richard J. Daykin, her son; and herself. It was her intention to create this educational fund for full-time employees of the St. Louis County Department of Transportation and Public Works. Thus the “Dick, Betty and Richard Daykin Scholarship Fund” was established.
A one million dollar endowment fund was established by an anonymous donor. It provides financial assistance for parish employees’ children to attend an archdiocesan or parochial elementary school or an archdiocesan or parochial high school. Employees must work 1,000 hours or more over the course of the year. Grants are made on the basis of financial need as determined by the application process.
The Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation (TTEF) is pleased to announce that the Missouri State Treasurer’s Office has approved TTEF as an Educational Assistance Organization (EAO) for the Missouri Empowerment Scholarship Accounts Program: MOScholars.
This means that as of July 1, 2022, TTEF may receive qualified contributions from individuals and businesses to establish MOScholars scholarship accounts for qualified Missouri students.
TTEF asks families interested in the scholarship to take a 5-minute prequalification survey at ttef-stl.org/moscholars to see if they are eligible for this scholarship. All eligible families will receive a notification when the official application opens.
St. Peter School is committed to making our program financially feasible for families regardless of their families’ economic circumstances. Families should apply for the Archdiocesan scholarships first using the above listed unified online application. The Scholarship Office at TTEF will review your application and determine your family’s award(s) based on eligibility for the different programs. If you are denied an award, or if the award still makes St. Peter tuition a hardship, please contact Kevin Stillman, in the parish business office for information on applying for St. Peter Scholarships. St. Peter Scholarship funds may be awarded in addition to the other scholarships listed above.
